All 计算机科学 and Information Systems majors are required to participate in an internship in their respective field with industry or another career entity.
- Your internship must include a minimum of 200 hours of work. In most cases, 你 will be paid by the employer.
- Normally, students complete internships during the summer between their junior and senior years.
- The Engineering and 计算机科学 Department will provide information to help 你 find internships, but 你 are individually responsible for locating and completing an appropriate internship.

Entering and completing the major or minor
In order to earn a degree, 你 must complete at least one academic major. SPU encourages students to explore various academic paths, so if 你 change 你r mind about a major or minor, or want to include an additional program, 你可以这样做, 如下所述.
We encourage 你 to enter 你r computer science or information systems major as soon as
你 have decided on it, and then select a faculty advisor corresponding to 你r

junior year and select a faculty advisor for each program.
- If this is 你r first quarter at SPU and 你 identified a major in this department as 你r first choice on 你r application for admission to the University, 你 have gained entry to the major. To change or add a major or minor, 遵循以下说明.
